HEARTLAND AR SERIES POINTS 2011
HEARTLAND AR SERIES RULES
  • Teams do not have to be registered with (or be “members” of)  the
    Heartand AR Series in order to race an event.

  • Teams will recieve points at each of the events.

  • As long as teams stay in the same division with the same team
    name they will get accumulating points.

  • Once they change to a different division then points will go to that
    division.

  • Series Championship Medals are awarded in all divisions (Solo, 2
    Person Coed, 2 Person Open, 3 Person Coed Elite, 3 Person
    Open).  Series Championship prizes are awarded in 3 Person
    Coed Elite division only .

  • The Heartland AR Series Championship race has a
    “Championship” division (75-100 miles/approx 16-24 hrs finish
    time).   Teams seeking overall rankings/prizes in the Adventure
    division may choose to register/race in the Adventure or
    Championship division for this race (Psycho 43).  Points awarded
    for rankings in the Championship are 1.5x the points in the
    Adventure division (this race only).  

  • Some series races offer a 2 and 4 person division for that race
    (instead of a 2 and 3 person division).  Teams racing in the 4
    person division will receive rankings in the Series based upon 3
    Person rules.

  • Team members can overlap on other rosters if they desire to race
    with multiple teams.

  • No more than one team of the same name can be registered for the
    Heartland Series.

  • Teams may race in any division registered for (per event).  Any
    Series points earned will be for division raced in (not cummulative—
    except all pts earned per division raced).

  • In case of a tie in the overall point series, the team with the best
    cumulative time in all same division head to head races will be
    awarded the tie break.

  • Heartland AR reserves the right to alter or change rules as needed
    to ensure a fair and accurate result for participants.

  • Heartland Series rankings will be updated approx 5 days after each
    series race.

  • The team ranked #1 (3/4 person elite) on 8/15/2012 will receive free
    entry to 2011 Heartland Championship.

  • Teams and racers are responsible for knowing and adhering to the
    rules of each event within the Series.
