    Wild Outdoor Women Retreat
    For women only, led by women.  Ropes (climbing, rappelling, traversing, anchors),  navigation,
    kayaking, hiking, yoga & more.  1 ½ days “base camp” activities & 2 days/overnight kayaking &
    remote camp on river.  No previous experience necessary, all ability levels welcome.  

    This may be the most remarkable outdoor trip you every imagined in Kansas.  Group size will be
    limited.  $325 registration includes tent camping, all meals on river, kayak/canoe rentals and
    transport, ropes instruction/gear rental, topo maps/tools and navigation course, yoga class, tshirt
    and lots more “charm” (fishing, campfires, etc).  

    Lodging--Tent camping is free at Acorns Resort for Wed/Thurs night.  Or, check availability at
    Flint Hills Lodge (hotel type rooms at the lake).

    7/14, Wednesday
    2-6pm                   Arrival and Check In
    6-8pm                   Welcome Bonfire Supper on the beach, Charm Intro

    7/15, Thursday
    9-10am                 Yoga on the Beach
    10-11am               Ropes Intro  (classroom)
    12-3pm                 Rappelling, Ascending, Traversing Ropes (Field)
    3-6pm                   Anchors class and more ropes (cliff time)
    8-9pm                   Bonfire and River Trip Briefing

    7/16, Friday
    9-11am                 Navigation Intro (classroom)
    11-1pm                 Navigation in the field with practice course
    2-3pm                   Fishing 101
    3pm                      Depart for River
    4pm-6pm              Kayak/canoe
    6-7pm                   Set Up Remote Camp/Shore Supper
    8-10pm                 Campfire

    7/17, Saturday
    8-10am                 Shore Breakfast, break camp
    10-4pm                 Kayak/Canoe to Take Out Point
    5-6pm                   Return to Acorns Resort/Farewell
