    Kayak rentals are offered on site for 4 or 8 hours, starting at
    $15 (all kayaks w/o mirage drives) up to $45 (mirage adventure
    sailboat).  

    You can launch right here at the beach and enjoy a peaceful
    float or head out for one of the many routes Charmion can help
    you plan on the biggest lake in Kansas.  Email to reserve kayak
    rentals in advance to be sure they are available when you are
    ready to go!

    Full day River Trips and Overnights can also be arranged with
    a group of 4-7 people (advance notice of your desired trip date
    of at least 3 weeks is highly recommended).  Prices vary--
    guided trips start at $50 per person.

    All of our Hobie Cat kayaks are easy to learn on and can be
    comfortably used from early Spring to Late Fall.

    I've owned Wilderness Systems, Old Town and Necky kayaks
    and have enjoyed them all--but something was always missing.  
    I started leaving my kayak on the shore too often because
    either I wanted a total body work out or I was just bored with the
    same experience.  

    When I saw the Hobie Cat Mirage Adventure Island in the
    Minneapolis airport, I fell in love and knew there would be a day
    we would be together.  

    This boat is the ultimate in flexibility between peacefulness and
    adventure as are all of the Hobie Cat Mirage kayaks.  I was sold
    on the pedal feature of these boats, but ordered some "normal"
    Hobie kayaks too.  The fun and ease of paddling the Quest was
    a great suprise, and now I don't know which boat I'm getting into
    until I hit the shore.

    The true test has been the highly valued overnight trips that we
    take--sometimes in early Spring and Fall.  All of the Hobies
    have proved worthy in carrying capacity, transport, durability
    and safety on the rivers.  And have I mentioned the fishing?  No
    kayak beats Hobie Cat when it comes to kayak fishing.  Fishing
    was definitely not an after thought in Hobie kayak
    manufacturing.
